If the ordered item is available, it will be shipped on the date indicated, there will not be an acknowledgment. If the ordered item is not available, you will be notified by post card. Films and other audiovisuals are available free of charge. The office of state fire administration will absorb the cost of mailing the materials to you, as well as, Rockwell’s handling fee. However, the local fire department is responsible for the cost of returning the material. All material must be sent back to Rockwell by mail, library rate, insured for $200.00. Orders can also be picked up and dropped off. Specific dates of use must be supplied with the order. In no case can any item be held by a department for longer than two weeks. All items must be returned to Rockwell by the date specified when ordered.
An Evaluation Form will arrive with the loaned material. This form must be filled out for each showing and returned to the office of state fire administration. This report is vital, it supplies us with the statistics needed to get funding for the purchase of additional materials for your use.
