Beginning on January 1, 2018 student application fees for Training Programs and Certification Examinations administered by the Commission on Fire Prevention & Control (CFPC) Connecticut Fire Academy will reflect a slight increase in price. While it has been a number of years since our last general increase in tuition and fees a targeted budget reduction in the adopted state budget for FY18 & 19 budgets necessitates this action.  Specific to certification, fee increases were also initiated for Challenge and Reciprocity applications.  The CFPC website has been updated to reflect these changes as has the 2018 CT Fire Academy Training Calendar.
