Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Workshops
Assistance to Fire Fighters Grant (AFG) Workshops have been scheduled throughout the State of Connecticut the week of September 15, 2014. Attendance at these workshops is encouraged even if you have attended in years past. Priorities for funding are occasionally adjusted by FEMA so you want to make sure grant requests align as closely as possible to those priorities.
These AFG Workshops will provide information on the Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program, what is new for the 2014 round, and tips on how to develop and submit a successful application. These AFG Workshops also provide an opportunity for fire service constituents to ask questions and network with our Grant Specialists and other AFG applicants/recipients.
