12th Annual Connecticut Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service to be held at Connecticut Fire Academy

(WINDSOR LOCKS, CT)- The Connecticut State Firefighters Association Memorial Foundation, in cooperation with the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection, Commission on Fire Prevention and Control, will hold the 12th Annual Firefighters Memorial Service on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. at the Connecticut Fire Academy, 34 Perimeter Road in Windsor Locks. 

“This memorial service provides us all with a valuable opportunity to honor all of the brave firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty,” said State Fire Administrator Jeff Morrissette. “We will never forget the sacrifices they have made.”

The public is invited to join firefighters from throughout Connecticut at this hour long event to be held rain or shine.
