Peer Fitness Trainer Workshop

September 13-17, 2010

The purpose of the IAFF-IAFC-ACE PFT certification program is to provide a fitness trainer standard consistent with the health and fitness needs of the Fire Service throughout the United States and Canada. The Peer Fitness Trainer (PFT) program was created so interested fire department personnel could obtain certification in fitness-program design and implementation in order to help their peers with their fitness programs on a one-on-one basis and to help with the physical training of recruits.

The PFT program is coordinated by the Commission on Fire Prevention and Control and hosted by the New Britain Fire Department.  This workshop draws students from around the country and will fill up very quickly.  Get your application and payment in soon to secure your place in the class.
