Challenges for Local Training Officers
Challenges for Local Training Officers is a six day class presented through a cooperative effort of the Connecticut Fire Academy and the National Fire Academy. Course content deals with a variety of training challenges facing the local training officer, including dealing with personnel, program planning, delivery and training liability. This presentation is scheduled from Monday March 8 through Saturday March 13, 2010 at the Connecticut fire Academy in Windsor Locks. Class hours are scheduled for 0830 - 1630 each day with lunch included on site. The course number is 10223 and the class cost is $125.00.
To apply students should submit both a CFA course application (on back of flyer) and a NFA application form 75-5 (long form). Both forms can be submitted to the CFA Registrar and the NFA form will be forwarded to the National Fire Academy. On the 75-5 application students should explain in box #16 that they have current or future responsibility for the training function in their organization.
Students completing this class will receive both a Connecticut Fire Academy and a National Fire Academy class certificate.
