Higby Reservoir #3 is 42.3 acres in size and is located in Middletown, CT. 

Three plant species were found during our 2010 survey: Gratiola aurea, Sagittaria graminea, and Elodea nuttallii. E. nuttallii was most prominent in the lake, covering the entire southern portion and large patches existing in the northern half of the lake.  S. graminea grew along the shore of the lake in small, sporadic patches except along the upper half of the western coast.  Four small patches of G. aurea were found. Two were found along the west coast and two in the upper half of the east coast.
