Call to Order

Chairman Frank P. Blando called the meeting to order at 10:05am.

Board Members Present: Chairman Frank P. Blando, Esq., Secretary Craig C. Fishbein, Esq., Dr. Charles Dike, James A. Greer, Esq., Mr. M. Peter Kuck and Chief Carl Rosensweig.

Board Members Absent: Ms. Gudrun Johnson and Col. Kyle Overturf

Chairman Frank P. Blando reminded all witnesses that they were still under oath from the January 14, 2016 meeting.

Hearing: Case 15-048-D reconvened from meeting on Jan. 14 2016

1) Case No. 15-048-D, involving the denial of a temporary pistol permit to carry pistols and revolvers. Attorney Stephanie A. Bernstein and Attorney Mark Balaban represented the appellant. Attorney Kori T. Wisneski represented the local Issuing Authority, Chief William McKenna, Middletown Police Department with two witnesses.

Decision: By a majority, the Board voted to uphold the decision of the local Issuing Authority, Chief William McKenna, Middletown Police Department, the denial of a temporary pistol permit. Board Members Blando and Fishbein voted for the appellant. Board Members Dike, Greer, Kuck and Rosensweig voted for the local Issuing Authority.

Adjournment: Board Member Fishbein made a motion to adjourn, Board Member Rosensweig seconded the motion, motion carried unanimously.
