  • New Year's Day - January 1
  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day - First Monday on or after January 15
  • Lincoln's Birthday - February 12
  • Washington's Birthday - Third Monday in February
  • Memorial Day - Last Monday in May
  • Juneteenth - June 19
  • Independence Day - July 4
  • Labor Day - First Monday in September
  • Columbus Day - Second Monday in October
  • Veterans Day - November 11
  • Christmas Day - December 25

Whenever any of such days occurs upon a Sunday, the Monday next following such day shall be a legal holiday and whenever any of such days occurs upon a Saturday, the Friday immediately preceding such day shall be a legal holiday. (Section 1-4 Connecticut General Statutes)

  • Thanksgiving Day - The Fourth Thursday in November
