Waterbury Hospital
Pursuant to Conn. Gen. Stat. 19a-486 et seq., the Office of the Attorney General is reviewing the proposed purchase of the assets of Greater Waterbury Health Network, Inc. of Waterbury, CT, by Southwest Connecticut Health System, LLC. The Attorney General’s review and approval is required whenever a nonprofit hospital enters into an agreement to transfer a material amount of its assets or operations to a for profit entity.
