NOTICE: Attorney General's Office Closed to Public
As of Friday, March 20, 2020, the Office of the Attorney General will be closed to the public until at least April 3 and many of our staff will be working remotely.
In accordance with Governor Lamont's emergency declaration, employees and the public are asked to observe social distancing measures to ensure communal safety and to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
The Office of the Attorney General performs multiple critical functions including representing and advocating for the interest of the State of Connecticut and its citizens, safeguarding the rights of consumers and working to preserve and enhance the quality of life of all citizens of this state. We will ensure these functions continue, but please understand that our resources to handle non-emergency situations may be limited during this challenging time and we thank you for your patience.
If you have a constituent or consumer issue, please feel free to file a complaint using the form on our website https://www.dir.ct.gov/ag/complaint/ If you have continued business with the office and/or would like to speak with a particular person, please call (860) 808-5000 and leave a message with your name and phone number, and we will get back to you as soon as it is administratively possible. Messages from this phone line are retrieved daily between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
