Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and Asthma Initiatives

Several NGOs’ partnerships continue to promote, further expand and develop initiatives to assist the CDC in reaching its 2024 objective:  Controlling Childhood Asthma Reducing Emergencies (CCARE) by preventing 500,000 hospitalizations and emergency department visits among children with asthma.

• Trainings for the promotional use of CDC's EXHALE strategies

3. National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF)

• Environmental Management of Pediatric Asthma Guidelines for Health Providers

4. American Lung Association (ALA)

• Strategies to promote CDC’s EXHALE technical package
  • Effective strategies
• Putting the National Asthma Guidelines into Practice
  • Effective strategies
