Connecticut is committed to ensuring that its young people have strong science, technology, engineering, and math skills that will enable them to be successful and competitive in today’s world. The Governor’s Workforce Council is dedicated to expanding STEM education access and making the existing programs more attractive to all students.
Connecticut is pleased to announce the launch of the Governor’s Summer STEM Challenge. During the challenges, Connecticut students are encouraged to create innovative design projects aimed at tackling real-life issues and promoting ongoing academic success. The design challenges were created by student organizations supported by the Yale School of Engineering & Applied Science, in partnership with the Governor’s Workforce Council and the Connecticut Conference of Independent Colleges.
CT Summer STEM Challenge Support
The Governor’s Summer STEM Challenge is a statewide initiative that will present middle, and high school students with a series of hands-on design projects to keep them engaged in learning this summer while growing skills for the future.
