The special education teacher failed to provide the Student with academic skills instruction in accordance with the Student’s IEP. It appears that the teacher did not accurately track the Student’s service time, nor was there a regularly scheduled time for the provision of the service.
Corrective Action(s):
- The District conducted its own investigation regarding the matter. The District changed the Student’s special education teacher and offered 7 hours of compensatory time in academic skills instruction. No additional corrective actions are required.
