OVA Training Information

The Office of The Victim Advocate (OVA) works to promote training in the area of crime victims’ rights. The OVA offers a series of educational training sessions geared toward raising awareness about the work of the agency and the specific rights and services available to victims of crime in our state. If your group or organization is interested in learning more about the trainings available, or if you would like us to create a training regarding a certain crime victim related topic, please contact the Office of the Victim Advocate by calling 860-550-6632 or email ova.info@ct.gov.

We understand that often times organizations are faced with staff shortages and limited funding that hinders the opportunity to attend training. In an agency effort to provide ease of access, the OVA is offering free onsite training across our state and virtual training.
