The State of Connecticut Department of Administrative Services (DAS) in conjunction with its Avaya Telecom maintenance partner Altura will be upgrading its Avaya Enterprise Voice platform Columbus Day weekend.
The work will begin Friday night October 9th at 6:00 PM and continue throughout the weekend. We anticipate a general service outage Friday night for approximately one hour followed by standard facility telephones coming back on line shortly thereafter. Messaging will be available at that time as well.
End users who utilize softphones for call processing will be required to make a settings change on the application for it to register for use in the new environment. More information will follow throughout the course of the week concerning end user support and help should anyone experience problems when they return to work on Tuesday the 13th.
