Upcoming Consumer Advocate Engagement Discussions

The Connecticut State Innovation Model (SIM), part of the Office of Health Strategy, is working with consumers, consumer advocates, medical professionals, health insurers, employers and others to improve primary care for patients in Connecticut through its Primary Care Modernization initiative.

The Primary Care Modernization initiative proposes a more flexible payment model to improve how primary care services are delivered. The initiative will support providers in expanding their care teams and offers new ways for patients to access care outside of a traditional office visit.

As part of this initiative, we need to hear from Connecticut residents and those who advocate on their behalf to tell us what’s working well in primary care and what could be improved.
