Governor Lamont Announces Approval of Federal Major Disaster Declaration in Response To Tropical Storm Isaias
Governor Ned Lamont today announced that he has received notification from the Federal Emergency Management Agency that the request he made to President Donald Trump in September 2020 for a federal major disaster declaration in response to the damage caused by Tropical Storm Isaias has been approved for all eight counties in Connecticut, including the Mashantucket Pequot and Mohegan Tribes.

Governor Lamont Announces Deployment of More Than 100 Members of the Connecticut National Guard To Washington, D.C.
Governor Ned Lamont today announced that at the request of United States National Guard officials, he is authorizing the deployment of more than 100 members of the Connecticut National Guard to Washington, D.C. to aid and facilitate the peaceful transition of presidential power.
