211 Child Development, a specialized unit of United Way of Connecticut, supports children’s healthy growth and development starting from pregnancy. They connect pregnant women, parents, caregivers, social service agencies, child health providers, as well as early care and education providers in Connecticut to community services and resources related to child health, behavior, development, and learning. Care Coordinators are available to answer the phone Monday through Friday from 8 AM – 6 PM, except on holidays. Messages can be left 24 hours a day, seven days a week and are returned promptly. This service is free and confidential, with multi-lingual and TTY capacity.
