CT’s child advocate meets with the Office of the Child Advocate (OCA) Advisory Committee several times a year. The committee advises the child advocate during the meetings. It also publishes an annual report on the OCA’s effectiveness.

OCA Advisory Committee members
The committee has professionals from many fields. They are appointed by State Senate and House leadership from both parties, and the Governor. The current members are:
