Connecticut Department of Revenue Services Announces Launch of the DRS eAssistant

(Hartford, CT) – As part of its continuous efforts to modernize customer service and improve the taxpayer experience, the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services (DRS) today announced the launch of its new DRS eAssistant. The DRS eAssistant is available to all Connecticut taxpayers on the myconneCT homepage and can be found in the bottom right-hand corner.
The DRS eAssistant is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and offers more flexibility than ever for taxpayers to get quick answers to their Connecticut tax questions. It accesses information from a database to provide step-by-step instructions on topics such as how to obtain the status of a refund, how to file Connecticut tax returns, and how to make tax payments.
"Our DRS eAssistant will directly assist taxpayers by providing important information on demand,” said DRS Commissioner Mark Boughton. "It’s yet another way we’re working to modernize our department by being as user-friendly as possible. I’m proud of the cross-functional team that developed and implemented this latest technology.”
