Traveling 84 East:

  • Take the Capitol Avenue Exit (Exit 48B) and stay to the right on the exit ramp.

  • At end of ramp, take a right onto Capitol Ave. and continue past first traffic light (entrance to Legislative Office Building), past second traffic light (intersection of Broad St. and Capitol Ave.), and past third traffic light (intersection of Flower St. and Capitol Ave.).  Just past the third traffic light but before you reach the white brick building on the right (410 Capitol), you will see a driveway.  Take a right into the driveway and proceed to the rear and ask the guard to assist you to the visitor's parking area.

Traveling 84 West:

  • Take Asylum Street Exit (Exit 48).

  • Turn right at end of exit onto Asylum St. and proceed straight to the next traffic light (intersection of Asylum and Broad).  Take a left onto Broad Street and continue straight (past the entrance to highway, past state Armory), until you reach the intersection of Broad and Capitol Ave.  Take a right onto Capitol Ave.  Proceed down Capitol Ave. past the first traffic light at the intersection of Flower & Capitol. Just before you reach the white brick building on the right (410 Capitol), you will see a driveway.  Take a right into the driveway and proceed to the rear and ask the guard to assist you to the visitor's parking area.

Traveling 91 North or South:

Take Exit 29 (Capitol Area Exit).  Proceed around the traffic circle at the end of the Whitehead Conlin Highway.  Take 2nd right onto Elm Street and continue straight to the light at the intersection of Elm and Trinity Streets.  Take a left onto Trinity St. and proceed to the next light (you will see State Capitol on your right).  Bear right onto Capitol Ave. and continue straight through approximately 4 traffic lights.  Just past the fourth traffic light (at the intersection of Flower & Capitol), but before you reach the white brick building on the right (410 Capitol Ave.), you will see a driveway.  Take a right into the driveway and proceed to the rear and ask the guard to assist you to the visitor's parking area. 

Also Traveling 91 North:

  • Follow 91N to the 84 West connector (Waterbury Exit 32A).

  • Stay on I-84 west and take Asylum Street Exit (Exit 48).

  • Turn right at end of exit onto Asylum St. and proceed straight to the next traffic light (intersection of Asylum and Broad).  Take a left onto Broad Street and continue straight (past the entrance to highway, past state Armory), until you reach the intersection of Broad and Capitol Ave.  Take a right onto Capitol Ave.  Proceed down Capitol Ave. past the first traffic light at the intersection of Flower & Capitol. Just before you reach the white brick building on the right (410 Capitol), you will see a driveway.  Take a right into the driveway and proceed to the rear and ask the guard to assist you to the visitor's parking area.
