Office of Public Information and Communications
The Office of Public Information and Communications provides a full range of communication activities that serve the department and its stakeholders. The office manages public information, social media, Freedom of Information responses, media relations, marketing communications, issues management and public affairs, the agency’s website, and internal communications.
The Office of Public Information and Communications responds to inquiries from the public and media, as well as develops messaging and materials to agency staff. The office works with media outlets and reporters to provide accurate information in a timely manner; promote agency services, programs and events; disseminate media advisories, press releases and other materials to media partners statewide; and work to destigmatize mental illness and addiction.
