Announcement: SBA Offers Disaster Assistance to Businesses and Residents Affected by Remnants of Hurricane Ida
The attached press release was released to the media by the Small Business Administration (SBA) reminding small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, small businesses engaged in aquaculture, and most private nonprofit organizations in Connecticut that December 29, 2021 is the filing date for Physical Damages, and August 1, 2022 is the filing date for Economic Injury disaster loans due to Remnants of Ida on September 1-2, 2021.
The loans are available in the following counties: Fairfield and New London, including the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation and the Mohegan Tribal Nation; for economic injury only in the contiguous Connecticut counties of: Hartford, Litchfield, Middlesex, New Haven, Tolland, and Windham;
Under this declaration, the SBA’s Business Physical Disaster Loans, Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL), and Home Disaster Loans are eligible.
