Review the required fiscal information related to your budget document along with overall grantee responsibilities. Also note, that all information collected as part of the application process is considered public record
Fiscal Information
Applicants must upload a detailed budget.
Proposals are not required to provide a match (except as noted)* but additional funds supporting the activity are highly encouraged.
* ONLY organizations that receive Directed Local Funds (aka Line Items) must provide a 1:1 cash match.
ARTE-accesible funds may ONLY be used to support the following:
- Programs & Services
- Training & Accessibility Planning
- Artist Employment
ARTE-accesible funds DO NOT support the following:
- administrative fees
- general operations
- general program/project costs
- capital project construction
- art/classroom supplies

Develop and upload a detailed BUDGET. Your budget should include other sources of funding and in-kind support, if applicable.
Note individual line items for services that are related to the grant request (do not include a budget for the full performance/event). Be sure to reflect income, expenses, and indicate where the COA funds will be allocated. Create your own budget and upload it as part of the application. A sample budget has been provided below.

Grantee Responsibilities
- Review COA's Grant Overview Guidelines as all details within the guidelines are strictly enforced.
- Acknowledge the support of the Connecticut Office of the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts per the grant contract and Credit & Publicity Kit.
- State single audit requirement, if applicable
