Consumers don’t make mistakes because they’re doing something wrong. In fact, 1 in 10 people will fall for a scam in their lifetime, and Americans lose 8.6 billion dollars to phone scams each year. Everyone has a friend, neighbor or family member that has been confronted by fraud or a scam. It usually happens because they simply don’t have access to all of the information. Here at DCP, we work every day to change that.
This week, we’re highlighting the work we do to encourage all consumers to take a deep breath, do their homework before making a purchase or a commitment that they may later regret.
