Information For Grantees
The Connecticut Council on Developmental Disabilities makes grants to partners who share our values and who can help us to achieve our objectives. All grants shall support the specific objectives in the Council’s strategic State Plan so grant seekers are encouraged to review those objectives. The Council does not fund direct services. The Council funds advocacy, capacity building and systemic change activities that contribute to a comprehensive, coordinated, and self-determined system of individualized services and supports that is centered on and directed by individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
A significant portion of Council funding is committed to multi-year programs, nevertheless the Council does fund new initiatives from time to time.
Prospective grantees are invited to review the Request for Grant Applications (RFA) for FY 2025.
