Do I still have to file my federal taxes by April 15, 2022?

FOR MOST TAX PAYERS:  The federal deadline for filing tax returns and extensions in 2022 has been extended until April 18, 2022. This is because of the Emancipation Day holiday in the District of Columbia. According to law, holidays in Washington DC impact tax deadlines for everyone else, just like federal holidays.
