Silver Lake is a 146-acre lake located in Berlin and Meriden, CT. The environments surrounding the lake are somewhat diverse with some areas fully developed, such as the public boat launch, and some areas bordering wooded land. This survey was done as a follow up to the 2004 survey via request of the Connecticut DEP to determine the effectiveness of hydraulic dredging on controlling Eurasian watermilfoil (Myriophyllum spicatum).
