Office of the Attorney General Fully Operational as Majority of Workers Move to Telework Status

(Hartford, CT) – Attorney General William Tong announced today that the Office of the Attorney General is fully operational as the majority of workers shift to telework status.

All employees who can have been encouraged to work from home to promote social distancing and slow the spread of COVID-19. Attorneys with obligations in court will continue to report to court only as necessary.

“The Office of the Attorney General is fully operational and working hard to protect all Connecticut residents during this incredibly challenging and uncertain time. To promote social distancing and slow the spread of COVID-19, I have directed all employees to telework from home if possible. Those who must appear in court will continue to do so only as necessary. The vital work of this office will continue and there is no question we will be there for the people of Connecticut,” said Attorney General Tong. “Over these last few days, attorneys, paralegals and support staff in the Office of the Attorney General have met this moment with incredible dedication, creativity, and flexibility. These measures and this crisis are temporary, and we will get through this crisis together.”
