  • Q: Do we really need an accessibility conformance report (ACR) if our product is “accessible by design”?
A: Yes. The ACR shows how you meet each WCAG 2.1 AA success criterion. It’s part of our due diligence.
  • Q: Which platforms should we test?
A: Test the platforms and browsers your product supports. At a minimum, include keyboard-only use, NVDA on Windows, and common desktop/mobile browsers.
  • Q: What if we use third-party components?
A: You are responsible for the full user experience. Include third-party components in your testing and ACR.
  • Q: How often should we update the ACR?
A: With major releases, or when accessibility changes. Share updates with your State contacts.
