School Discipline Amidst COVID-19 Guidance – Addendum 10

  • Addendum 10 – Reframing and Reopening: School Discipline Amidst COVID-19 Guidance (CSDE)
This Addendum supplements the robust guidance provided by the CSDE related to school reopening, and reminds school communities of the importance of frequent communication with families, active reengagement with students, and consideration of the unique circumstance students are facing returning to the structure of school after a period of disruption. It also provides answers to frequently asked questions related to discipline within the context of the new health and safety considerations presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, both in schools and when remote.
