Governor Lamont: Flags Lowered to Half-Staff in Honor of U.S. Representative Elijah Cummings
Governor Ned Lamont today announced that – in accordance with a presidential proclamation directing flags to be lowered throughout the country as a mark of respect for the memory and longstanding public service of U.S. Representative Elijah E. Cummings of Baltimore, Maryland – U.S. and state flags in Connecticut will fly at half-staff from sunrise to sunset beginning immediately until sunset on Friday, October 18, 2019.
