Overview

The Connecticut Office of Health Strategy (OHS) and Office of the State Comptroller (OSC) are collaborating to update the State Self-Sufficiency Standard and expand its use by developing a Healthcare Affordability Standard. 

The Healthcare Affordability Standard will allow advocates and policymakers to estimate the effect of various healthcare reforms and proposals on the capacity of Connecticut families to maintain quality healthcare coverage and meet their basic economic needs. 

The Healthcare Affordability Standard Advisory Committee meets on the third Wednesday of the month, unless otherwise noted. The meetings are held at the Legislative Office Building (LOB), Room 1D 300 Capitol Avenue, Hartford from 2:00 PM to 3:30 pm. All meetings are open to the public.
