**Your HUSKY Health coverage will be extended automatically for the duration of the public health emergency, as long as you are a Connecticut resident and want coverage. We are automatically extending your coverage as part of the State of Connecticut’s response to the coronavirus pandemic. Even though coverage will be extended, if you get a renewal form we ask that you complete it in order to get the longest possible coverage period. We appreciate your patience as we work to ensure our systems are updated to reflect your continued enrollment status.**

Special Information for Parents About HUSKY B

The Children’s Health Insurance Program (known in Connecticut as HUSKY B) has been extended through September 2027

On February 9, 2018, the President signed the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018, legislation that adds four years of funding to the six-year extension previously authorized for CHIP.  This is great news for families of more than 17,000 children currently enrolled in HUSKY B, and for the availability of the program over the next decade.

Applications for new enrollment are open year-round at www.accesshealthct.com or 1-855-805-4325.

Thank you from the Connecticut Department of Social Services, administering agency for HUSKY Health.
