Stand Down 2020

Save the Date Sept. 24th - 25th!

CT DVA's Annual Stand Down Event is currently being planned for this year in a modified form due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  On September 24th there will be multiple virtual informational sessions/webinars scheduled on Veteran Programs and Services offer by the DVA along with other State and Federal agencies.  These will begin after a brief kickoff ceremony at 9:00 AM and run throughout the day in 30 and 60 minute increments.  The information will cover a broad range of Veteran programs, services and benefits at the State and Federal levels.   Then on September 25th, the DVA will coordinate the distribution of personal needs items to Veterans by Veteran Service Organizations and Community based non-profits at our Rocky Hill Campus and at three of the state’s regional Vet Centers.

More information will follow as we finalize this new approach to connect Veterans across Connecticut with the programs and benefits they have earned.
