WEST HARTFORD, Conn.—With the summer season approaching and a busy schedule of weddings, concerts, graduations, parties and other events, the Simon Konover Company has teamed up with the Connecticut Department of Public Health and Griffin Hospital to coordinate several free vaccination clinics throughout the state over the next few weeks.

Working off the success of the first clinic at Marcus Plaza in Norwich in April, the collaboration has secured locations that are easily accessible and highly visible with ample parking. The goal is to make it easy for people to access the COVID-19 vaccination to increase the number of people who are vaccinated and boosted.

“When the Connecticut Department of Public Health first reached out to us to do a clinic in April, we were very excited to help the vaccination effort of the State by providing an open retail space at Marcus Plaza in Norwich to hold the clinic,” said Beth Judd, president of Konover Commercial Corporation.

Griffin Health will send out their Mobile Vaccination Team to the various locations and their health professionals will provide the vaccinations free of charge. Vaccinations will be available for ages five and older. Walk-ins are welcome and no appointment is required.
