Connecticut Strategic Prevention Framework Coalitions (CSC) Initiative
The CSC Initiative is comprised of 12 agencies that collaborate with community coalitions to implement SAMHSA’s five-step Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF). The CSC Initiative objectives are to: develop strong linkages between communities and State agencies; implement and sustain culturally competent, evidence-based prevention services; and achieve measurable outcomes in reducing substance abuse while also promoting positive mental health.
