CONNECTICUT STATE POLICE LOOKING FOR

The Connecticut State Police announced today April 6th, 2006 that applications are now being accepted for the position of Connecticut State Trooper Trainee.

On Wednesday April 26,2006 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. a Law Enforcement Career Fair will be held at the Department of Corrections Maloney Center For Training 275 Jarvis Street Cheshire, Connecticut.  Representatives from the Department of Corrections, Department of Environmental Protection, Department of Motor Vehicles, Department of Children and Families, Department of Mental health& Addiction Services, State Universities, and State Police will also be on hand to provide employment opportunity information.

The State Police will hold an Open House on Thursday May 4th, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Connecticut State Police Academy 285 Preston Ave. Meriden, Connecticut.  The open house will consist of a tour of the academy by the recruit class and an opportunity for questions to be asked of current training troop members.
