SBA Loan Program for Eligible Non-Profit Organizations

As a result of the President’s April 23 Major Disaster Declaration authorizing Public Assistance for Fairfield, Middlesex and New London Counties, the Small Business Administration has released loan programs for eligible non-profit organizations (PNPs).  Examples of eligible PNP organizations that provide essential services of a governmental nature include, but are not limited to, food kitchens, homeless shelters, museums, libraries, community centers, schools and colleges.

Eligible Non-Profits located in Fairfield, Middlesex or New London County that were impacted by the storms beginning March 12 and continuing can apply for Physical Disaster Loans and Economic Injury Loans.  Application can be made on-line at www.sba.gov/services/disasterassistance.  Interested parties may also call 1-800-659-2955 with any questions or to receive an application by mail.

The application deadline for Physical Disaster Loans is 6/22/2010.

The application deadline for Economic Injury Loans is 1/24/2011.
