Earthquakes

While earthquakes are an unusual occurrence in Connecticut, they have been known to occur,  especially in the East Haddam and now Plainfield areas.  While a severe earthquake is considered unlikely in Connecticut, geologists cannot predict with certainty, when, where or how severe, an earthquake may occur.  Here are some preparedness and other information links to help you plan and be prepared.
