COMMISSIONER’S FINDINGS/REGULATORY CONDITIONS

The proposed activity includes the following:  replace the existing bridge with a double-cell precast concrete box culvert and concrete wingwalls, and restore channel with naturally-occuring or otherwise naturally-formed and locally sourced natural streambed sediments, gravel, rocks, and cobbles, and will affect 36. s.f. of wetlands permanently and 453 s.f. of watercourses permanently.

The application has been evaluated for compliance with the applicable provisions of sections 301, 302, 303, 306 and 307 of the Act and the Water Quality Standards of the State of Connecticut adopted pursuant to Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies Sections 22a-426-1 to 22a-426-9.

The application is available for inspection at DEEP, Land & Water Resources Division (LWRD), 79 Elm Street, Hartford, CT from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.  Additional surveys, plans or other material may be available with the original application file at DEEP.
