Water Education and Student Activities:
Project WET and
the CT Science Curriculum Framework

Project WET (Water Education for Teachers) is a comprehensive curriculum guide that offers many hands-on activities for students and teachers that pertain to many aspects of water education.  In Connecticut, the CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection is the sponsor of Project WET, offering educator workshops throughout the state.

Project WET curriculum books are only available to educators that participate in a 6 hour Project WET workshop.  To inquire about upcoming workshops or to schedule on at your school or education center, please contact Susan Quincy at 203.734.2513 or at susan.quincy@ct.gov .  Workshops cost $40 per person.  Group rates are available: 2 teachers from the same school are charged $35 each, 3 or more teachers from the same school are charged $30 each.

Project WET activities have been correlated to the CT Science Curriculum Framework.  For each grade level, the relevant Project WET activities are correlated to the Science Curriculum Framework Content Standards. It also lists the activities' objectives and the CMT Correlation.
