John Dempsey Center 50th Anniversary

Please join us on November 2nd to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the John Dempsey Center. The Dempsey Center was founded in 1964 by a group of parents who were visionary in what they perceived as the future for their own children and all persons with intellectual disabilities.  The celebration will include opening remarks from one of our beloved founding “mothers”, Norma Cassettari.  In addition we will be opening a Time Capsule which was buried at the Center 25 years ago.  There will be entertainment from individuals in our local Special Olympic Program, a slide show featuring the last 50 years of service to the community, light refreshments and of course the sharing of memories amongst friends.

Please share this flyer with anyone you know who might be interested.  We welcome family, friends, staff, community members and consumers!
