MEDIA AVAILABILITY: COMMISSIONER JONATHAN HARRIS AND INSPECTORS TO DEMONSTRATE GAS PUMP INSPECTION, GIVE WARNING ABOUT SKIMMERS
December 19th, 2016 – TOMORROW, December 20th, 2016 at 10:00am, Consumer Jonathan A. Harris and inspectors from the Food and Standards Division of the Department of Consumer Protection will host a gas pump inspection demonstration and issue a warning regarding skimmers at gas pumps.
The holiday season is a busy travel time on Connecticut roads, and there’s a lot for consumers to think about. With the recent spike in skimming attacks,
DCP wants to make sure that consumers have the information they need to protect their money.
Tomorrow’s event will be located at All Town Gas Station at 1527 Pleasant Valley Road in Manchester.
