Appraisal Management Companies are those that perform appraisal management services, including:  

  • administering an appraisal panel;
  • recruiting appraisers to serve on the panel to negotiate fees and determine services to be provided by the appraisers;
  • receiving appraisal requests or orders and delivering them to the appraisal panel. 
Required Documentation:   

Appraisal management companies must register with the Department of Consumer Protection before engaging, performing or advertising appraisal management services.

All certificates of registration expire biennially on December 31st of every even-numbered year. Renewal fee: $1,000.00
