Interim Telework Program

Overview

Telework is an arrangement between an employee and the employee's agency which allows the employee to work at home, a satellite office, or another approved Telework location on pre-approved and identified work days.

The State of Connecticut has recognized the benefits of Telework through Connecticut General Statutes Section 5-248i and negotiated with the State Employee Bargaining Agent Coalition (“Coalition”) to credit an Interim Telework Program that will apply to specifically identified classifications.

The Interim Telework Program material includes Interim Telework Guidelines, a Telework Application, an IT Telework Security Addendum, a Telework Work Plan and, as applicable, a Telework Agreement.
