Mask and face covering requirements:

The State of Connecticut currently requires masks to be worn in the following locations:

  • Schools (if required by local school board or similar authority): Face masks are required to be worn inside PreK-12 public or non-public school buildings only if the local school board or similar local authority requires them.

Private businesses and state and local governments also have the option of requiring masks to be worn inside of their establishments (this includes places such as private retail stores, government office buildings, correctional facilities, etc.).
