Plant Health Problems

Diseases caused by Physiological/Environmental Factors:

Wilt or Decline, physiological.
Plants show a nonspecific decline and wilt. Since snakeplants require a low nutritional level, high levels of fertilizer in the potting mix may result in a burn of the roots and crown. When the crown is girdled, plants may die.

This problem can be avoided by minimal fertilization. Affected plants can be repotted into fresh, sterile potting mix and a clean pot.

Insect Problems:

This plant is free of insect pests.
