AG Tong Statement on the Passing of Judge Dominic Squatrito
(Hartford, CT) – Attorney General William Tong issued the following statement today on the passing of United States District Judge Dominic Squatrito.
“Judge Squatrito was fair and compassionate and treated every person in his courtroom with genuine respect. He was a mentor to many lawyers in our office, including former Assistant Attorney General Tom Ring, and Assistant Attorneys General Patrick Ring, John Wright and Neil Parille, who recalled his time clerking for him as among the best years of his life. He was a true Connecticut gem. My thoughts are with his beautiful family, who I know miss him very much,” said Attorney General Tong.
